Rosanna Turner started as a journalist in Colorado before moving to Chicago to pursue fiction writing. Her debut novel, Romance vs. Reality, set in Chicago, is inspired by her love of romantic comedies and her own dating experiences (if she’s being honest).
In addition to being a writer, Rosanna is also a storyteller and stand-up comedian. Her one-woman show, “The Hot One”, premiered in Austin, TX, at the FronteraFest Short Fringe in January 2024.
Rosanna pens a popular newsletter, Intellectual Donuts, where she shares humorous essays on topics like dating, rejection, and life as a comedy writer.
